Music is a fantastic way to allow our students to express themselves, develop motor skills, and work in a group to be performance ready. During weekly music class students learn to have confidence in their voice, to practice projection and intonation and to have exposure and gain knowledge in a variety of musical genres.

Jordan Lake Creative Center (JLCC) is the non-profit 501 (c)3 organization that provides individualized

skill building and vocational training programs to Jordan Lake School of the Arts (JLSA) alumni and eligible JLSA students.
Through JLCC, these individuals participate in activities such as learning marketable trades as an entry into the workforce,
gaining financial literacy and other life skills, and providing supported employment training – all with the purpose of
helping participants learn valuable workforce and life skills on their way to becoming more independent.
