THE PROCESS

 

 

 

Thank you for your interest in applying to JLSA. Please follow these steps:

 

STEP ONE

 

Parents should first schedule a visit to the school for a monthly tour. On most occasions we can provide a private tour if you are visiting from out of town. Call the school directly at (919) 387-9440. Prospective students are welcome to attend as well. Visit the Events & Tour page and join a tour or attend an Open House.


STEP TWO

 

The school must receive a completed Application, a teacher questionnaire form will then be sent to you for completion, and a $50 non refundable application fee is also required at this time. We recommend that you bring the application or complete prior to your tour if you wish to expedite scheduling the two day visit.


STEP THREE

 

Upon receipt and review of the application and student information form a two day visit is scheduled. This provides the prospective student an opportunity to experience JLSA, while the staff & students spend time with the child to determine if it would be a great match. If the school and family agree the student could grow and thrive at JLSA, an enrollment contract will be extended to the family.

STEP FOUR

 

To enroll, an $850 non refundable enrollment fee is required along with the signed enrollment contract. Tuition is based on the program to which the child enrolls. Enrollment contracts are offered on a year by year basis.

STEP FIVE

 

Upon enrollment, a start date will be established for your child. We do enroll for the beginning of each school year as well as have a rolling enrollment. We prefer to stagger new student start dates to best acclimate in the school environment.
